When you need to change the location of, or remove, existing electric equipment from your property. This is done at the sole option and discretion of CCECA.
For this type of request, the member whose name is on the account needs to take the following steps:
- Call (903) 683-2248 or (800) 992-4280 (toll-free) or stop by the Cherokee County Electric Cooperative Association (CCECA) office
- The Staking Technician will contact you to schedule a staking appointment
- Meet at your property with a Staking Technician who will stake the required changes and determine your costs
- Complete any required easements by all property owner(s)
- Pay construction costs
Once you’ve completed the process above, we’ll schedule work on your property.
