When you’re new to CCECA, it’s easy to turn on the power. There are 4 simple ways to start the process:
For more information, email CCECA, or call (903) 683-2248, or (800) 992-4280 (toll-free), or fax: (903) 683-5012.
The process involves several steps, so be sure to contact CCECA as soon as possible to allow time for power line design and construction. Here's what you'll need and how it works:
- Fill out the following forms:
- Individual: Fill out an online application or print out and submit an Application for Membership and Agreement
- Business: Fill out an online application or print out and submit an Application for Membership and Agreement
- Include a copy of your Driver’s license. Pay $25 connect fee and any applicable member deposit.
- Provide a copy of a signed and notarized Warranty Deed or Deed of Trust
- Obtain the 911 address from your county, if needed
- The Staking Technician will contact you to schedule a staking appointment
- Meet at your property with a CCECA Staking Technician who will determine the requirements and your costs
- Complete any required easements
- Fill out and submit an Underground Utility Agreement
- Pay construction costs
- Notify CCECA when the meter loop is installed, and the right-of-way is cleared
Once you’ve completed the steps above, we’ll schedule construction on your property. Please allow 90 days for the construction to be complete. This may take longer during inclement weather.
For service at a new location, CCECA will provide you with the necessary meter loop specifications.
