UTILITY AGREEMENT

 

Property owners will be responsible for locating and visibly marking and exposing all private underground utilities (including but not limited to water, sewer, telephone and gas) prior to the construction of any electric facilities by Cherokee County Electric Cooperative. Any damages to unmarked underground utilities by Cherokee County Electric Cooperative will be at the property owner’s expense and responsibility to repair.

 

 Meter locations are required to face the nearest electrical facility or the designated shortest route as determined by a coop representative. If this is not possible, additional cost may be assessed in order to extend the line closer to the meter.
